An ideal place for hiking! It is particularly appealing to discover this region along the long-distance trails: climbers and mountaineers can spend days here ...

... to be on a huge roof.

The Lechquellen area, a space of vastness and naturalness, a symbol for the Alps: mighty mountains, lush green meadows, clear water and a constantly changing sky - the pure mountain experience. In this idyll, nestled high huts, romantic pastures and small lakes.

The biodiversity always present by the whistling whistling murmurs, the curious looks of the chamois and the majestic rest of the stone blocks.

Welcome on the high way through the Lechquellengebiet, and on a discovery trip around the springs of the turquoise shining Lech.

Itinerary

You travel individually until the early evening to Nesselwang in the hotel "Alt Reichenbach".

At the dinner together in the cozy hotel of the hotel you will meet your fellow travelers. Certainly, all your remaining questions will be answered this evening. Look forward to an informative atmosphere and a lively exchange of experiences!

But maybe you would like to arrive early. The previous days are almost pushing to climb the surrounding mountains on day hikes, so to speak as a training for upcoming challenges. The nearby Grüntensee invites you to the sunshine. Or maybe take a trip to Kempten, Fussen or "Neu Schwanstein".

We will be happy to arrange your stay for you.

After an early breakfast, you will meet your guide Frank. Last short instructions and a "luggage and weight control" (certainly not quite serious), the transfer bus brings us to our starting point of the hike to Landsteg.

The gentle ascent of the path leads us to the Biberach hut and is best suited for the mountains. Firstly, when we pass the valley of the Schandeltobel, we reach an impressive mountain backdrop attendant us for the rest of todays hike.

The Biberacher Hütte welcomes us in a friendly and inviting atmosphere, surrounded by flowers and sunny alpine pastures. The lodge at the Schadonapass, a once-important pass between the Grosser Walsertal and the Bregenzerwald, will be our quarters for the first night in the mountains.

The early bird ... is going ahead! And so we leave soon after breakfast.

Our view sweep back to the Hochkünzelspitze and down into the still sleepy Großwalsertal. Our path leads us to the karst area of the Gamsboden tub.

As the name already promises, there are often stone blocks and chamois in larger numbers! Be sure, you will be fascinated about the interesting stories Frank is able to tell about "Gams and Bock" ....

Between two powerful mountain sockets, it continues over a high plateau with many small and large water reservoirs. Be careful!

We reach our daily destination, the Göppinger hut.

Today it will be one of the most beautiful stages.

Our route to alpine regions is constantly increasing. A safe kick is helpful here on partially gravelled path. After a good climb, however, we will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Red Wall, one of the grandiose mountains in Vorarlberg.

No less famous as a Piz Buin, the Zimba or the Schesaplana, this vertical wall is particularly popular with rock climbers and, with its many rock layers of millions of years of deposition, offers a showcase in the history of the earth.

It is hard to break the view, although some scenic side valleys lure on the way before we finally hike down to the Formarinsee and thus to our today's destination, the Freiburger hut.

It is still early and we are alone and far from all other groups on the path, which gives us the feeling of freedom and peace once again.

We reach a first elevation. Looking back to the Freiburger hut and the Formarinsee, inwhich the Red Wall is reflected magnificent - before we enter the "Steinerne Meer", a gigantic surface of large and small boulders.

Jumping from rock to rock, we cross the Stone Sea without great effort and reach the imposing Gehrengrat. At the top, we have a view of boundless expanse - from the Rätikon and the Silvretta to the south to our day destination, the Ravensburger hut.

A last breakfast on a mountain hut. Departure to the last stage.

There is no real reason to hurry. And yet everyone would like to catch the view as soon as possible behind the next bend or ascent to the magnificent mountain scenery!

From the summit of the Madlochjoch, the lake of Zurich glimmers turquoise and ice-cold. The path leads us to the lake, invites you to a short rest. A bold and very refreshing jump would be tempting. Well, who dares?

Soon we will be on the last part of the way down to Zürs, the destination of our wonderful hike. That's it! Done! At the Finish! Happy ... tired ... but also full of overwhelming impressions!

Before the transfer bus brings us back to Nesselwang in the hotel "Alt Reichenbach", there is still time for a quick coffee.

Hotel "Alt Reichenbach", cozy, a bit dreamy and idyllic situated at a small stream, awaits us. Refreshing and in "normal clothes" we enjoy together an excellent dinner. And certainly after some glases of wine or beer, the experiences of the past few days will not seem so adventurous to the one or the other ... ... or the mountains are even more powerful ..!

The night was short, the head is .... This is probably called "Katerfrühstück"! But don´t worry, the "Alt Reichenbach" is also well prepared, so the experience ...!

After an extensive and hearty breakfast, it's time to say goodbye, ... after the obligatory group photo!
