Departure from the hotel to Trapani at around midday. The port city of Trapani was thoroughly restored only a few years ago. Admire the sea views seen between palaces and incredible church façades. The city owes its wealth to salt. Trapani’s salt pans are now natural preserves and the former foundation of its economy. The journey continues to Erice. The town is best reached by cable car.
